Spray Fruit Trees
Spraying fruit trees such as apples, cherries and plums with horticultural oil smothers insects that may be hiding in the bark. Choose a day when the wind is calm and the temperature is above 40 degrees, and spray from all angles until the spray drips from the branches. You can also spray evergreens to help control spider mites.
